Training a pet is not about only teaching the basic tricks to entertain you. You must focus on the behavioral education of your pet. This includes recognizing your voice, obeying your commands, knowing where to sit, where to pee, and how to behave in different circumstances. The basic behavioral training will program your pets’ brains to follow you even if you do not ask them.
The best way to tame a young American Bully puppy is to make him feel that he is a part of a family. Following suggestions would be helpful for you to train your puppy,
- Always make your pet feel that they are important and try to engage them in your activities
- A growing pet needs the same attention as a human kid does. So, you must understand pets’ desires and make them feel that they are important.
- Always behave politely with your puppy, do not shout at them, and make them realize that you are the leader and they have to follow your instructions.
- Tame your pet gradually. Puppies take time to understand and remember your commands.
- Spend 10 to 15 minutes daily with your pet. Take them for a walk, swimming or in a park and train them in a friendly manner. Make this training fun for your pet and yourself.
- Notice their unwanted behaviors and try to rectify them gradually and politely.
American Bullies are the coolest pets and they are very good at understanding human nature. But they take time to be fully trained so patience and consistency are the key factors in training them.
